This painted dress was create for the opening of the exhibition at Ibbs, Austria, a place I love for its sophisticated and symbolic side. Natural environment, flowers, petals have always inspired me with their infinite nuances, shades and construction according to the universal laws. The lily is also a symbol of royalty in France ...
Blue indeed evokes the sky, water, sea, space, air and travel. In dark tones, it exudes truth, trust, loyalty, intelligence and security. In lighter tones, it is associated with ideas of wonder, freedom, youth. Like the blue sky or the sea that opens the horizons, blue and its nuances is a color closely linked to dreams, wisdom and serenity. If the color blue designates tenderness, poetry, the expression "to be a blue flower" therefore means "to be romantic, sentimental”….
A Silk used for this creation is a scrap of silk fabric that was recovered from the waste at the fashion house, so our approach is a recycling art of textile.
