In the artist's own words: "This series of drawings tries to find a matter, to find an unconscious. I am looking for myself through the interaction with the drawing and the faceless bodies that inhabit it. Thus, based on my experience, I investigate what it means to cover, hide and cover the skin in the midst of a society whose greatest desire and longing is for exposure and perfection. By omitting the face, the attention is directed to the body seen as mass, flesh and bone in constant transmutation. The non-face truly allows the subject to be found, it allows the skin to be uncovered and a double to be exposed, another body appears and presents itself as a doppelganger against the desire for excellence."
