Carnival. In this work an Italian would refer to the great Pirandello, who in his books, often transported to the theatre, presented the thousand faces that characterize every human being—a face for every occasion. The carnival with its masks is what they want to appear, but not the true essence. Often, the face dresses for the occasion to hide its soul.
