My name is Margarita Martínez (1986) I am a passionate painter based in Barcelona, Spain. I studied Art at the prestigious Massana School in Barcelona, driven by a lifelong love for painting. While I'm not a full-time professional artist, I manage a local business, which afford me the time to dedicate to my art. My style is predominantly figurative, with a strong preference for oil on canvas. My work is characterized by the use of chiaroscuro and sfumato techniques, which lend my paintings a distinctive depth and intimacy. I work on a deeply personal level trying to reach universal and profound emotions that resonate on the viewer.
