Later hiking the
Campus of Harvard
A quick bite in
Boston proper

Then out to the cape
for a night in Mass
And finally onto Maine
Where he woke me saying
Let’s go shopping
I checked the time
It was 4am
But ahead of us
Loomed LL Bean
24/7/365
For a tent, a sleeping bag, a down coat
And a burgundy pair of down boots
Before we quietly
Settled in
For the final stretch
