The word chimera is mainly used to refer to situations or desires that are really practically impossible to achieve. They are an utopia or an almost impossible dream.
Chimera is also a mythical figure that is characterized by a hybrid appearance of two or more animals and the ability to throw fire through the nose. It is a beast or beast characteristic of Greek mythology. The chimera can have the head and body of a lion, with two more heads, one of goat and one of snake or dragon; two heads, or even a lion's head, goat's body and snake's tail.
