Pageant of the Masters re-creation of “Galileo at the Court” by Cesare Detti for the 2012 production, “The Genius."

To create the illusion of perspective (objects in the background seem smaller than those in the foreground), the Pageant regularly needs to cast children in re-creations to portray an adult figure. The harp player, depicted as an adult by the artist, is played by a 7 year old boy. The Pageant's youngest volunteer cast member was 4 years old.
