Photograph taken through angled glass that shows a person, actually their transparent shadow on glass through which the subject landscape can be seen, with various reflections of the sky, clouds and structures overlaying the scene. It seems to show the human immersed tenuously and ephemerally in the natural and the constructed environment, the mask referencing the environmental risks (viral pandemics, climate change and pollution) that we must contend with along with the beauty of the trees, sky, clouds etc. Will we learn the lessons of uncaring disruption of our own ecosystem or will Gaia remove us?
