Students took inspiration from Henry Matisse’s paintings Fish Bowl and Goldfish for this artwork. As a fauve artist, Matisse’s works prioritize wild brush work and brilliant colours over realistic representation. Students tried to exemplify the Fauvist aesthetic in this work and created a room and decorated it.
