Jaime Sancorlo's pictorial work is based on black and white images found mainly in photographic archives from the First and Second World Wars. The characters that appear in the scenes he paints belong to difficult times, immersed in situations of war or in the military sphere, all of which is the fruit of a world of adults. By integrating playful and colourful elements into the scene, I refer to that forgotten childhood world.
