“Every time you spend money, you’re casting a vote for the kind of world you want.”
Anna Lappé, American author and sustainability advocate

The Aquarium 2080 is an exhibition at the aquarium of Genova from February 1st to March 31st to provoke the spectator on the impact that we all have on the environment and the need of a new concept of consumption and reuse of goods. By facing waste instead of life, symbolized by cellphones instead of fish, with the question “Where is your cell phone?” the artists intend to create awareness of the spectator’s own footprint on the environment, bringing them to the center of the marine life destruction issue and reinforcing the importance of the circular economy.
