Marc Whitney began his formal art education at 14 years of age, when he received a summer scholarship to the Art Institute of Southern California. Marc creates paintings that capture the private, visual experiences that reflect daily lives; a morning cup of coffee, rumpled sheets across a bed, a simple vase of flowers on a table, all painted in a style that is his, and his alone. A romantic setting with melding colors punctuated with a clear human connection is Marc’s signature style.
