The Indian Village Belle , 2020

India

Acrylic On Canvas

Inspired by the great Indian master painters, this art piece is a combination of contemporary and traditional art in India. This painting depicts a village belle, who moves from village to village for water, trading different essentials, and also for work. She represents the true essence of the country folk, for whom the borders or boundaries between villages don't matter. They keep toiling on with a smile on their faces.
