The object-collage by the artist Alexandru Radvan titled "August" is hardly a collage anymore and almost an installation.
A blue colored narrow wooden box positioned with the mouth forwardly at the wall includes columnar raised parts of wood or cardboard and flat elements positioned in front of or behind the columns. In the foreground in front of the columns with some distance to the bottom of the box and the background is a figure in half view. It is cut through the edge of the box and, like most other elements, is red. One of the elements is yellow, so the primary colors here are complete and are not complemented by any other color except tiny black parts.

The strong, clear colors create a summary impression, which is also reflected in the title "August". The deep blue is reminiscent of that of the sky and the rich red-orange of the color of the sun, while the figure squeezes his eyes together as if looking against the bright light.
The tableau-like look of the object collage gives the viewer the feeling of making a sudden trip and being in a sunnier place.
