The artist Christine Kolbinger likes to paint dynamic pictures in strong colors. In these large-format works you can feel the strength and physical effort that the artist has put into her paintings. In various steps, colors are applied with a palette knife, partially scraped down and painted over again until the individual layers begin to talk to each other. Looking at the work "Paradise", the title seems obvious: in the center are two beautiful red flowers, surrounded by trees and shrubs. A lively brook ripples along the sunlit meadow. The motif suits the painter, who could not imagine ever living in the city. She loves her garden and describes her home on Lake Starnberg as paradise.
