Vicente Rojo (1932–2021) was an important Spanish painter whose family was exiled in Mexico.

His overtly geometric style became highly symbolic and characteristic of his participation in the Rupture of Mexican art with its own past.

Thirteen painted works include three from his México bajo la lluvia (A Rainy Mexico) series: a truly phenomenal op art legacy that spans a number of decades.
