Othman Aturkistani (b. 2005) is from Melbourne, Australia. His mixed media artwork depicts this young man and the relationship with his family, context and the many cultures he is surrounded by. Within his world, he is influenced by his many family members, who both have Australian and Western names. His food that is a mix between different cultures and his religion. What is clear in his artwork that everything around us has the potential to be an avenue for expression of creativity and to make our surroundings look beautiful.
