Epilogue
cardboard, Book paper, Coloured pencils, Paint

I have created a graduation hat that was meant to embody who I am as a person. Using a variety of materials and techniques such as book pages, colour pencils, paint and sewing, I was able to reflect on and express my identity. Growing up surrounded by books, they have always been an escape for me, a new adventure to experience. This was the base theme of my hat, my intention was to show how I am continuing onto a new and exciting chapter of my life! The personal connection with my hat is deeply rooted to my value for my friends. They have helped with the small details, ideas and process of creating this. I love how my hat turned out and it represents how much my friends mean to me as well. After thorough deliberation I named this project “Epilogue” because my story is just starting.
