Here is both a Frida portrait and a self-portrait. I continue to be inspired by this true creative who turned pain into color and created and recreated the story of her life. While I come from a line with two great-grandmothers named Frida, carrying a piece of Frida's spirit enlivens me in bringing through new vision and creativity. A portion of the sale will go to IEATA, whose work is grounded in the therapeutic power of art.
