During the spring lockdown, we were lucky enough to have a male Ring Necked Pheasant frequent our garden to perform courtship displays. One evening, as the sun was about to set, he approached so close to me that he more than filled the camera frame. Not wanting to move and startle him, instead I slowed the shutter speed to try and capture the wing blur, as he looked to attract a female.
