My artwork features a girl receiving an unexpected visit from the spirit of a playful ancestor tapping her shoulder. I wanted to create a Dia de los Muertos drawing because I was excited to display this beautiful and joyous occasion. I was inspired to make a piece based on the beautiful belief that on this day people celebrate and meet with their loved ones who have passed on.
