Life and Death , 2020
25 x 18 in (h x w)
Watercolors and watercolor pencil on paper
[11]

Los Angeles, CA

I was inspired by the vibrant colors of Dia de los Muertos and moved by the the cycle of life being represented in the form of flowers and bone. The magnificent thing about this cycle is that it’s not seen as sad, but beautiful instead. I wanted to represent it in my own way and challenge others perception of death.
