My work "en la casa de Cristina" is inspired by childhood memories of my grandma's house in Durango, Mexico. Memories of Chinese checkers on the kitchen table, Spanish-dubbed cartoons, jewelry boxes, empty rooms and big windows that overlap and intermingle. This drawing is a dedication to Cristina's house and all the games we played in her kitchen. My grandmother passed away in 2015.
