Twenty-five Red Dots for D(anielle) A(rnaud) , 2020
42 x 58 cm (h x w)
calligraphy pen and ink on paper

It is a list,
An inventory and
A diagram

It is a memory lane
‘Mapping' all the shows that took place at the gallery over the past 25 years.

The outline is continuous and done with my eyes closed - unpredictable, uncontrollable.
The writing is the opposite - carefully done and accurate.

Unreadable yet readable.
Tangled and twisted yet precise and complete.

Not linear
Unordered
Labyrinthian
As whenever one looks back

Twenty-five red dots - one per year.
