Originally, this is a book called "Las Mil Y Una Noches" (Arabian Nights) and is a collection of Middle Eastern Arabic folk tales during the Islamic Golden Age. But for my grandmother it was not just a book, but also a journal where she wrote her things, she practiced her spelling and made little doodles to pass the time.

When my grandmother showed me this book, I was astonished, since it was almost destroyed by how old it was. The pages were torn, yellow, and loose. But the text was intact and full of memories.
