Jeder Baum, jedes einzelne Blatt ist ein wichtiger Lebensspender für Mensch und Tier – Sauerstofflieferant, Nahrungsgrundlage und Lebensraum.

Die Eiche ist der nationale Baum Deutschlands. Mit meinem IBS4-Quilt in Form eines Eichenblatts und dem Titel „One Tree at a Time“ möchte ich an die Wichtigkeit von Bäumen und ursprünglichen Naturlandschaften für unser Leben und unsere Zukunft auf diesem Planeten erinnern. Das Quilttop habe ich ausschließlich aus unzähligen Stoffresten zusammengesetzt und habe damit hoffentlich auch einen winzig kleinen Beitrag zum Schutz der natürlichen Ressourcen geleistet.

Mein dringender Appell an alle: Pflanzt Bäume! Denn jeder Baum zählt!

Every tree, every single leaf is an important life-giver for humans and animals - oxygen supplier, food basis and habitat.

The oak is Germany’s national tree. With my IBS4 quilt in the form of an oak leaf and the title "One Tree at a Time" I would like to remind you of the importance of trees and intact natural landscapes for our life and our future on this planet. The quilt top is made up exclusively of countless fabric scraps, hopefully making a tiny contribution to the protection of natural resources.

My urgent appeal to everyone: Plant trees! Because every tree counts!
