Ink on Mixed Media Paper, Adobe Illustrator/ Photoshop

The current social climate lends itself to a feeling of isolation. There is an enormous pressure to be overly social and constantly intertwined in each others lives. The more I tried to reach out and connect with other individuals, I felt I was neglecting the person who needed me the most - myself. I am dedicating this piece to me. I am dedicating this piece to reconnect to who I am, to better understand myself, and to cherish who I am. For a long time, I have allowed my life to be stagnant and stifled. I refuse to allow myself any path other than growth, I am ready to emerge.
