This painting is on a cradled wood panel.

During live TV coverage of the election in November, I set up a table with painting supplies in my living room and got to work. I painted this window with intense focus, grateful for an escape from the turmoil and division in our country. Just for a few hours, my attention turned to the union of my home and the world outside, which always collide poetically in the glass of the window.
