Religious Literature , 2021

This ‘Religious Literature” series was produced in order to convey the concept that these three major religions share both differences and similarities, by presenting them on a level playing field they appear equal. I represented these religions (Hinduism, Christianity and Islam) through their literature. The first image of the series is of the Srimad Bhagavatam and a round of japa beads to signify both the philosophy and the practice. The middle image is of the Holy Bible where the folded heart expresses the love and good morals presented in the Bible. Lastly the final image shows the Quran open to show how open and transparent the texts are.
