This image shows an abandoned and derelict wooden crucifix that was laying in a graveyard. The concept of this photograph is to show that despite the neglect of this piece of iconography, it is still such a beautiful representation of the Christian faith. Throughout this project I have produced photography that shows religion in good and bad light, this image shows that the human treatment of this cross doesn’t effect its spiritual power.
