“Deities” is my interpretation of the two main deified figures in witchcraft: The Triple Mother, or Mother Goddess, and The Horned God. The Mother Goddess rules over things like the moon, earth, and sea, while The Horned God rules things like the forests, hunting, and animal realm. They’re essentially personifications of universal principles. While some practitioners of witchcraft believe in both, neither, one, or more of these deities, the general consensus is that these two are the main figures. I researched their different aspects and representations, and focused on their connection to our natural world.
