These on-site, plein air paintings of the way up to the Bronze Age camp are the origins of the circular Nova paintings. I try to capture the dynamic of the place using a minimal pallet and focussing on light dark and structure.
The thought in my mind is that through abstracting the natural patterns I hope to find a more universal language to describe how transient yet universally connected things are. The circular planet paintings are really the next step in attempting to encapsulate all within the whole.
