This winter view of the lane is more literal than others in the show. Painted before pandemic. The composition shows the winter sun quite low near the end of the holloway portal, mirroring its circular light. A smattering of golden leaves remaining from the 2019 growing season. It has a strong feeling of the winter solstice when the sun starts to rise again towards the new solar year.
