Lividity - Cerebral Prose , 2021
Digital collages with sound

Housing and infrastructure seems to be an endless ordeal with any urban environment of modern times. It adds to the chaos when a tiny city like Malé is caught in a loop of revamping its existing structures.

This is a city that is so densely populated beyond healthy proportions of space for a human settlement. Daylight seems to be a dream in the quarters tucked in the lower passages within the labyrinths of concrete. The roar of mechanical beasts echo in the tiny air vents of buildings that are built right next to each other. It is constantly morphing, and shedding, and rebuilding, almost like a living organism made of concrete.
