Series: Urban Nightmare , 2013
Digital collage printed on 300gsm paper

Urban Nightmare began as an experiment in 2013. Over the years my observations and interest in construction sites grew with thoughts of how the relentless intensity of this enterprise is changing the furrowed fabric of this island we call home.

I only use my mobile phone to capture and edit the images of this entire series as all of them are spontaneous captures. The image outputs are incredibly small due to using
free access applications. I feel this aspect of the images adds to the character and representation of how tiny a place this island is. To this point I have only been sharing these images on Instagram and using them in conjunction with musical experimentations. This is the first time these images are being displayed in large format on screen or print.

These images are my emotional resonance of the ever-changing anatomy of this paradox of an existence.
