Sadie Dupuis , 2020
20 x 16 in (h x w)
watercolor, Digital

Sadie Dupuis fronts a newer band that I absolutely adore, Speedy Ortiz. When looking into more about her life and career, I was particularly struck by how dedicated she is to her work. She even has created a side project called Sad13, where the music is entirely written and recorded by herself. Her music is very intricate, with lots of moving parts and instrument tracks, and she constructs her songs so that you hear something new with every listen.
