Ein Urlaubsfoto von einem Torbogen mit Meerblick war meine Grundlage für diesen Quilt. Die Sonne spiegelt sich auf dem Wasser und zaubert viele kleine, weiße Lichtreflexe auf die Meeresoberfläche.
Auch das Licht- und Schattenspiel lässt sich anhand des Torbogens schön darstellen.Rund um den Bogen werden die Blöcke aller Teilnehmer angeordnet und mit Streifen verarbeitet. Wie immer hat mir das Nähen des IBS3 Blocks und des Quilts viel Freude bereitet. Danke an meine Gruppenmitglieder für ihren Beitrag. Ein ganz besonderes Dankeschön gilt natürlich den Organisatoren für ihren schier unermüdlichen Einsatz!

A photo taken during our holidays showing an arch with a view towards the sea was the starting point for this quilt. The sunlight reflects on the water and creates many small white light points onto the surface of the sea. The play of light and shadow becomes very evident around the archway. I placed the block of all my team members around the arch, surrounded by narrow strips. As usual, I had lots of fun making the IBS3 blocks and this quilt.
