This work was created especially for INVOCATION DEMOCRACY. It tracks the consequences of the colonial roots of Earth’s exploitation, and the gross imbalances within our biosphere that mirror our culture’s marginalization and dismissal of the feminine. Floating in 2020’s Northern California air quality index 600 toxic smoke, a Yogini and her consorts and their California Condor animal familiars, explore internalized misogyny, the sexuality, aliveness and power of water, and challenge the status quo which isn’t moving fast enough to solve climate change.
