Covid 19 , 2020

On September 23, 2020, I visited the Washington Monument to witness flags that had been placed on the grounds to represent 200,000 Americans who died from COVID19. While there I witnessed a homeless man pacing back and forth through the flags and having a conversation with himself. The man was barely dressed and barefoot. He appeared troubled but aware of the situation as I heard him mumble COVID several times. As he turned his back I took several photographs keeping his identity anonymous.
