The Inner You , 2020
20 x 26 in (h x w)
watercolor, colored pencil, Digital

Little does May know her plush bunny is magic and has a few friends. This piece reflects the inner you through May’s bedroom. When you’re unapologetically yourself, people gravitate towards that honesty, confidence, and kindness. Knowing who you are can give you a sense of belonging within yourself.

Though brief, the bedroom is an important element in the story. All the belongings are representative of May, who she is and what she likes. She's unapologetically herself. Notice the shapes; though most objects are rectilinear, the circular moon is captivating, symbolizing the inner circle always in the background.
