"This painting is a celebration of the wonders of mycelium, and a dedication to the muse of the painting, Indy. Indy is a farmer, wild forager, and mycologist who is currently working to fight food injustice and insecurity in LA. This painting is symbolic of our need to connect deeply with nature, and that by doing so we can reverse some of the traumas of modern society. We can learn so much from the plant and fungal kingdoms, slow down, listen, observe. Magic is all around us.
