In Heat , 2020
24 x 18 in (h x w)
mixed media

In this second piece, I explore the sexual aspect of the pain spectrum. To maintain the theme of emotion I made a bust of the main character. Here they are being dominated by a faceless woman. She grips their face with force but also love. In order to visualize the pain in a more abstract way I portrayed the character engulfed in waves of flames composed of primarily warm colors.
