I was inspired after taking an amazing portrait class with Amanda Sage to join the group in painting Frida Kahlo. I have also loved and been inspired by the art of Frida for years. With all she had been through..the pain and tragedy, she continued to create her beautiful passionate art and to push through the pain and express her life through her art. She gives me courage to push on myself at difficult times and to express the passion and pain and heal the obstacles through my art. Thanks for the opportunity to be in this group show.
