Gouache and colored pencil on illustration board

The last illustration of the series is about overstimulation, the overwhelming feeling that accompanies anxiety. In the day to day, too many things happening at once can cause panic. Circus parades are full of color, loud noises, and overall has many different moving parts. I represent overstimulation with an intense worm’s eye view, and the bright, happy colors desaturate to purple as your eye moves toward the bottom of the piece.
