What are you going to do with all that toilet paper? (Self Portait)

[FIX-174]

‘What Are You Going To Do With All That Toilet Paper?’ (Self Portrait) - The work was created towards the beginning of the pandemic, during lockdown, in response to people panic buying. I saw a video online in which people were fighting for toilet paper in a store in Australia but also observed that toilet paper became a symbol of uncertainty. I also wanted to address the natural capitalistic response of mass buying in response to crisis, ultimately creating another crisis.
