"The back of the board has some notes that I wrote as I communed with mushrooms and we boarded the vision train for the journey. It reads, “ The emergence of a new way. The transmutation of the old into what is love and light and gold”. It also says, “New Moon in Gemini. Global Art Jam. Visionary Art Fam #mushroompaintingchallenge 5-22-20”
I was so ecstatic to be on the train that day, as I am a long time fan of fungus. I pulled out my deck of Fungi Perfecti cards for some reference to get started. The first card pulled was Reishi, and it looked like a queen! I included the moon phase into the image, and just flowed with the rest."
