‘Untitled, Still Life’ is a standalone image which was created during a period of experimentation which eventually led to the creation of my series ‘Studies in Still Life and Landscape’: Combining modern photographical processes with antiquated styles, the work raises questions on the authenticity and reality that a photograph presents. The compositions are soft and romantic but exploratory at their heart, looking at the commonalities and boundaries between the fine arts and photography, resulting in a visual style that floats somewhere in-between both practices.’
