SIMtv episode 5 seeks to answer the question ‘What do we do now?’ by going beyond the limits of party thinking and searching for truth. Biden may have won the election, but the United States is still the country where Trump was able to get elected in the first place. What this country has now is a moment of grace; we have not been saved, the inevitable has just been postponed. What kind of world do we want to live in? How do we get there and how did we get to the place we are in? What can we demand of ourselves and of each other? All of these questions and more will be explored in the episode, which will be released online at simtv.org at 12pm EST on January 20th, the same time as Biden’s inauguration, as dictated by the Constitution.
