This photograph was taken after two months of lockdown, people saw the atrocity of George Floyd’s killing and a local movement emerged. Many people were shielding and couldn’t attend large gathering, they decided to organise small, socially distanced events across the borough and people have been gathering since then to fight against racism, we live in Newham, one of the most diverse places in the UK and together we stand up to racism.
