‘Garden Dreams’ explores the relationship between the natural vs. the urban material elements of Williams’ painting practice. For example, the industrial staples and spray-paint next to the exposed linen and delicate stitching. Some of the surface is left naked, whilst other parts are densely saturated with heavy white paint, building a subtle but dynamic visual langue.
